Josefina is a Parisian brand of elegant, organised and timeless leather bags created to empower confident women stepping into motherhood as the best version of themselves. Founded by France Lamy Herbeau, Josefina was born out of a very personal need. When she became a mother, France searched in vain for a bag that could keep up with her daily life — from daycare drop-offs to business meetings, from stroller walks in Paris to evening dinners. She wanted something functional and beautiful, something that could hold baby bottles and a laptop, diapers and red lipstick. Unable to find it, she decided to create it.

Her ambition? To reinvent the diaper bag as an object of desire — a piece that’s deeply functional, yet effortlessly elegant.

Each Josefina bag is designed in Paris and handcrafted in Spain by expert leather artisans using exceptional know-how. Over 50 artisanal steps go into the making of each piece, in a family-owned workshop where traditional craftsmanship has been passed down for generations.

France personally selects every hide to ensure the highest quality. The main leather used is soft, natural, and only lightly treated — strong enough to endure daily life and beautiful enough to age gracefully. Each bag is made to last, to be loved, and even to be passed down.
